The community council resumes business for 2012 on Tuesday 10th January, 7pm at Inchgarth community centre.
All members of the public are most welcome to attend the meetings.
The community council represents the people of Garthdee and our main aim is to improve the quality of life for the people of our community and fight for local issues.

November seen the community council participate in the Garthdee spirit of the community awards ceremony which was attended by hundreds once more.
A new section of the site will be created shortly to celebrate the event, promote the past winners tremendous efforts and to showcase our 2012 event which we are certain will be even bigger than previous years.
What a tremendous example of community spirit, achievement and dedication.

We live in a wonderful community which is full of opportunity. We have tremendous community, sports, fitness, shopping, educational and support services and facilities.
Garthdee is a community that is shared between local residents and a huge student population aswell as a large amount of shoppers. While opportunities and improvements are clear to see, as a community council we are forever monitoring and working hard to resolve local issues of concern to our residents and we have an excellent track record of success ensuring residents worries and issues are listened to by our elected members.
Our community has many challenges too and it is these challenges that we face and tackle head on as a community council in the hope of making Garthdee a better place to live in 2012.
We want to hear from you and welcome you to our 2012 meetings.
